Dr. Heather Ryan (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Psychologist with 10+ years of experience in the field. She is passionate about creating an environment where people feel safe to collaborate, grow, reach goals, and better understand themselves.  She specializes in working with people with anxiety, depression, people processing grief, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Dr. Ryan completed her Masters of Arts and Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology at University of Indianapolis and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ball State University. Dr. Ryan was a Licensed Psychologist in Georgia before relocating to North Carolina. In addition to private practice, she has previously worked in community mental health, college counseling, and multidisciplinary healthcare settings. She also spent time working as a researcher for several tech companies.

Dr. Ryan lives in the Raleigh area with her husband and daughter. She is originally from Southern Indiana, so expect to hear the occasional “ope.” She enjoys knitting, crochet, reading, and playing video and board games.
