Yes! All of our providers are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna, including marketplace plans and the state health plan.
We have self-pay options for those with other insurance plans. We are able to file out of network and provide superbills.
As a client at Oak City, you are welcome to utilize services that you feel will serve you best. Whether that be nutritional services, individual, group therapy, or all three; we are happy to have you.
We know how hard it can be to find the right therapist. Our resident social worker and intake coordinator, Erin, offers to meet with potential new clients to help clarify the process of starting therapy. Erin helps to determine which therapist might be the best clinical fit and connects potential clients to needed resources or referrals. Brief intake sessions last 10-15 minutes and are offered virtually.
These meetings are completely commitment-free and cost-free. This meeting is optional and not required.
Before your first appointment, you will receive an email from Oak City Psychology prompting you to set up your client portal. To easily maintain access to your portal, we recommend downloading the Simple Practice app. Through this app, you can complete forms, access billing and payment information, join telehealth appointments, and message your provider when needed.
